What information we collect

How we use it

To manage bookings and payments, verify identity, handle complaints and damage claims, keep financial records and improve this website. We send marketing only with your consent. If you do not give us the details we need, we may not be able to complete your booking.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We may share it with the booking platform you used, our booking and website provider Smoobu, payment providers, cleaners and maintenance contractors (limited details only), professional advisers, and the authorities where the law requires. Some providers may store data outside the UK, with appropriate safeguards in place.

How long we keep it

Booking and financial records are usually kept for six years. Copies of ID are deleted after your stay once any related issues are resolved. Other data is kept only as long as we need it.

How we protect it

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and this website uses an encrypted (SSL) connection.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to how we use it (including for marketing), receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent, by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Cookies

Cookies keep the site and booking tool working, remember preferences and support analytics. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies, and your browser settings can also control them.

Maps and weather

The map on our site is provided by OpenStreetMap, and the live weather in the header scene comes from Open-Meteo. Your browser connects to these services directly when the page loads.

Links to other websites

Third-party sites, such as booking platforms, have their own privacy policies which we do not control.

We post any updates on this page.
